Self Care Tips
Cause Self Love is the Best Love…
To be honest, before this year I put zero effort into self care…
I kind of forgot it was a thing. But just like you take care of your hair, your car, and your health, you have to take care of you. And first, if possible. It’s important! You can’t be the best daughter/son, lover/friend, employee/business partner if you aren’t the best YOU. And how do you be the best you? You take care of yourself.
Just imagine months, hell, even years of not taking care of you car. Now for me personally, my car is my baby! I may not clean her as much as I should, but she stay with at least a half tank and she gets her 90 day oil changes when she’s supposed. Because I care for her. But just imagine not doing that: never putting gas in your car, never getting an oil change, no getting your tires rotated, nothing. How would your car hold up? It may break down, overheat, maybe even stop and have a meltdown on the side of the rode.
Now replace the car and think of you. If you don’t take time to care for yourself you have the potential to breakdown. You could overheat, you could explode. My Mom would always tell me “take a break before you break,” and she’s absolutely right. So below is a list of 101 self care activities you can do to give yourself some loving! Some are free, some are cheap, and some may seem strange, but let’s be optimistic! Give it a chance! This is coming from someone who neglected self care for 26 years, so if I can get in tune I’m sure you can too…
